2016 Malibu’s Price Lower Than 2015
The Chevrolet Malibu has always been in one of the closest, most competitive segments in the auto industry. Now the sedan may have the upper hand when it comes to making sales. For the 2016 model year, the sleek Malibu will be priced lower than the 2015 model.
The 2015 model has fewer trims to compare to and the base engine is a 2.5-liter.
The lowest priced 2015 Malibu currently is $23,000. The 2016 Malibu’s price will fall to $22,500, which includes shipping and delivery charges.
The top-level trim is the Premier which starts at $31,795. That price comes with the option of a 2-liter turbocharged engine capable of 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
A hybrid model is included in the five available trims – L, LS, LT, Hybrid, and Premier – but pricing isn’t available just yet.
“We’ve continued our focus on delivering on the highest levels of quality, as evidenced by recent recognition from J.D. Power,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet cars and crossovers marketing. “The 2016 Malibu is engineered and priced to give customers impressive value and technology.”
We here at Crossroads Automotive are happy to see a lower price on a fantastic car!
